Buying a Condominium

Buying a Condominium

Buying a condo is a different experience than buying a house and the things a buyer has to consider in their choices.

  1. Price range comes first as this will dictate what areas to start your search in. If you have a pre approved mortgage then you know ahead of time what your limits are in affordability.
  2. Size is a factor. How many bedrooms do you need? This will eliminate a lot of the locations if you need 2 or more in a specific price range.
  3. Location is the next detail, how close do you have to live to work or school? If your mortgage limit is $400,000 and you require 2 or more bedrooms then you can search to see what that amount of money will enable your to buy in each location. It is a good idea to walk around the different neighborhood locations to see if they feel like a good fit.
